Our Lady Queen of Peace is located in St John's area of Worcester, in England and is approximately one mile from the city centre. The parish serves an area from the River Severn as it passes through the city to the village of Clifton Upon Teme, roughly 15 away. It has a Catholic population of approximately 1200 people living in St. Johns and the 15 surrounding villages.
The Parish of Our Lady Queen of Peace was formed in 1948, and there are still founder members worshipping here today. The church was opened in 1954. It was refurbished in 1984, and a new porch was erected during the spring and summer of 2003.
This site will provide you with information about the parish, our priest, Father Paul Whieldon and its community.
Whether you are new to the area, visiting or are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith, we invite you to 'Come and See'. You are sure of a warm welcome; join us for refreshments after both Sunday Masses. Full details of how to contact us are provided in the 'Contact Us' page.
